19c. Victorian Sewing Basket Antique Sewing Kit Velvet Box Silk Tufted Bone Tool

Beautiful, rare late 19th century antique Victorian French Sewing Box. It is a stylish piece typical of the era. The sewing basket is covered with a dark red velvet, with an ornate steel handle and clasp. The interior opens to a beautiful, tufted silk lining with loops to hold the sewing tools with a mirrored base.  There are 9 tools included, a couple needle cases, thimbles, stiletto, hooks and one that I dont know what it is.  I dont know if the thimbles are original but the others appear to be original and old.  The sewing box includes a full set of sewing tools made of metal and bovine bone.

Excellent Antique Condition-there is some wear along the velvet edge, some minor wear around the edges, one of the silk panels is torn-as shown.
Measures 5 1/2" tall by 6 3/4" wide - by 3 1/2" deep at the base
