  • Condition: Anntique with some damage. The box at one time had a sliding lid but that is gone and parts of the sides that held the slide in place is also gone. This mostly likely happened long ago as it has a darkened patina in these areas also. Advertising label mostly intact. Some of the oil has penetrated it but it still has a great look to it.

    Description

    For sale is this antique "Favorite Sewing Machine Oil" dovetailed wooden box.  Produced by the L. D. Mix Oil and Naptha Co.  Some damage, please see condition description but it really has a great patina and adds to the long story of this box.  If only it could tell us its story.  Has original manufacturers label on the front.
