Antique French Velvet Silk Lined Napoleon III Victorian Sewing Needle Music Box
A beautiful antique French needlework box, with a musical box element in the base (this alas has ceased working). Bound in a timeworn faded green velvet. To the top of the lid are four metal filligree elements to each corner with a central detail. Opening the lid inside is faded pale oyster pink cushioned silk lining which has some marks in places. The central area lifts up to reveal the musical part that I think could be replaced if required. Stands squarely on 4 curled metal feet.
