Installation manual
:
1. Clean unit from dirt. Do not wet.
2. Unscrew 6 screws PH1 from main unit.
3. Carefully split unit. (you may have to remove the top rubber cover of the GPS antenna)
4. Remove VHF PCB from case (you may need to unscrew the screws and other fasteners fixing the board in the case)
5. Carefully unsolder VHF connection of old or damaged SMA connector.
Please be carefully to prevent damage and lost small element on main PCB.
6. Install new
SMA connector
and solder cable to PCB.
7. Assembly in reverse order. For attach
top rubber cover use rubber glue.
8. All done! Good job! Now your Garmin device is in working condition!
