    Description

This incredible C 1894 tintype is a Studio pose of what appears to be the original? Cliff House ( 1863-1894) . It shows a wealthy family two women and two men , one an older gentleman who appears to be smoking. The very interesting unique part of the tintype is the image of what appears to be a tiny photograph of a beautiful risqué woman possibly in a swimsuit seated at the bottom of the road leading up to the Cliff house, which was in San Francisco , California . A fire destroyed the original wood frame in 1894.
The tintype is slightly darker in person. It has sl scratches and dings. It measures approximately 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. Two bottom corners are clipped
