This is a PLUG-N-PLOW system
The basic remote is available with a choice of color buttons as shown in picture 2 on the bottom row.

The FLOAT feature on these Vplows works like the originals where you need to hold the down button for a
second for it to go into float

YOUR SETUP MAY REQUIRE AN EXTENSION
if your harness is not loose enough to get to a good place to mount the receiver..
Units will come with an extra replacement plug and pins for your truck side harness.
This may not be needed, but it is recommended for older harnesses that may be getting worn.
