Pivot Bar 8 piece kit for the Western Ultramount Plow. Our kit eliminates taking apart your whole plow to replace your rusted pivot bar and pins. Just cut off your old pivot bar at the rusted pins and use this kit to reassemble. Instructions included.

Installation Instructions:
From Western, the old pivot bar used 256-2331 and 256-2332 pivot pins. When these pins get rusted-in or broken-off you must disassemble nearly the whole plow. Our new 8-piece design pivot bar kit uses regular clevis and cotter pins to retain the pivot bar to the plow. Also, the new pivot bar has grease fittings, so the pins will not rust again.
REMOVAL
Unbolt pivot pins from bracket retaining them in. Cut the old pivot pins right next to the pivot bar using a reciprocating Sawzall. Remove center bolt and nut from pivot bar. Remove bar with frozen pins.
INSTALLATION
The new pivot bar is hollow on the back side which enables you to put the new clevis pins in from the inside out. Put a washer on each clevis pin and retain with the cotter pin. Install new center bolt and nut. Grease both pins.
