    VERY RARE Original Vintage Concert Poster, 1961
    RAY PRICE & KITTY WELLS 1961 GRAND OLE OPRY CONCERT POSTER
    Extremely RARE Original Country Music Concert Poster.
    17x26" thin cardboard poster for April 4, 1961 concert that took place at the Columbia Township Auditorium in Columbia, SC that featured Ray Price and His Cherokee Cowboys as well as "Queen Of The Country Music" Kitty Wells; both of whom have their photo featured. Concert also featured Johnnie & Jack, Bill Phillips, Johnny Sibert and Cedric Rainwater, "Plus Many More Opry Stars." Poster was printed by Posters Inc. of Philadelphia, PA. Poster has several staple holes along margins and shows corner tip wear, w/1" sliver off bottom left and bottom right has extensive tape repairs to 3.5x6" area, repairing tear. VG overall.

    In the past 2-3 years Original Concert Posters from this genre and era have skyrocketed in demand and hence value.     For example, in March 2017 a poster, not nearly as beautiful as this one, sold for 500, and in August 2018 a much inferior Concert Poster sold for 50.  One reason for the ultra rarity  of Original Concert Posters, was because only a handful were produced for local concert venues.
    Based on our research this is the ONLY one of its kind in existence.
