The SNOWBEAR 250 lbs. Salt Spreader is the ideal tool for residential or small commercial use. Whether it's salting your cottage driveway or de-icing a parking lot, this SNOWBEAR Salt Spreader provides durable portability with easy-to-use utility. Made of High density polyethylene (HDPE), the hopper and lid are impact resistant and immune to corrosion. The 1-piece acetal (thermoplastic polymer) auger is capable of operating at temperatures of -40°. The hopper holds 250 lbs. or 3.25 Gal. of de-icing agent that is distributed by the stainless-steel spinner. Controlled by a wireless remote control key fobs, the 12-Volt DC direct drive motor powers the spinner and auger assembly. The unit is powered through a typical 4 pin trailer harnesses and can be mounted to any 2 in. trailer hitch. Whether the vehicle is an SUV, truck or utility vehicle, the unit can adjust up to 12 in. for optimal performance.
