    SUPERB WINTER SCENE 1/6 PLATE TINTYPE - MEN IN A SLEIGH - GORGEOUS QUILT ON LAPS -
    You will be lucky to find another tintype of this caliber containing a winter wonderland from the 19th Century. Perfectly composed are two gentlemen out for a ride in their horse drawn sleigh. Both men are finely dressed and covered with an exquisite handmade quilt. In the distance is a fabulous house and what appears to be children at play. The horse wears the traditional sleigh bells around it's midsection. You can almost smell the air, hear the sleigh bells and the children yelling out back. Truly one of the best outdoor winter scenes I have had the fortune to offer my clientele here on Ebay. Good luck to my winner.

Please remember my listing photos are taken with my iphone and there is no retouching whatsoever. The image contains wonderful contrast, tonal range and superb sharpness on the two gentlemen. The image has some minor surface wear and small creases consistent with age. The paper cartouche sleeve is also in fine antique condition. A truly great photo for any advanced collector of hard images.
