Surplus to the needs of a retirement community, removed from service due to a remodel, and it was decided not to reuse it in the new facility.
This warmer warms up immediately when powered on.  The low water light didn't come on when I powered it up without water in it, which research indicates is 80% likely because it needs a good cleaning.  If not because of that, it may need repair to restore the low water light.
You can, of course, use it without the light operating (you just check the water like you would with any unit without the light).
