Ancel HD3100 is a portable handheld diesel truck barcode reader developed by Ancel for car owners and DIY enthusiasts. This product covers the mainstream USA diesel trucks on the market (Freightliner ,Kenworth ,Peterbilt , International ,Mack ，Ford , HD Volvo ), coverage  Engine, gearbox, ABS (brake) and chassis or body control etc system , with the basic functions of reading fault codes, one-click clearing fault codes, Analyze real-time sensor data ,and reading data streams.
This model of HD3100 currently uses diesel OBD, but International, Ford, Mack, and Volvo will add private agreements in the future.

Please kindly note that you should enter menu "Diesel OBD" if you want to diagnose heavy duty trucks.
Different connector will be applied in different protocol:
OBD-16 pin connector supports J1708/J1587 or J1939 protocol.
DIESEL-9 pin connector supports J1708/J1587 protocol and J1939 protocol.
DIESEL-6 pin connector supports only J1708/J1587 protocol.
CAT-9 pin connector supports J1708/J1587 or J1939 protocol.

Full OBD2 Functions
✅1. Reading Codes: Present some diagnostic trouble codes after scanning the vehicle.
✅2. Erase Codes: Clear the fault codes after doing the repair according to the prompt of the scanner.
✅3. Live Data Stream: Show the information of continuous data stream from a vehicle in live graphic (waveform) display.
✅4. I/M Readiness Shows whether the various emissions-related systems on the vehicle are operating properly and are ready for inspection and maintenance testing.
✅5. Freeze Frame: Reads and displays live ECU/PCM data stream, plotting functions graphically and stores freeze frame data.
✅6. On-Board Monitor Test: Check the certain vehicle conditions which are recorded by the on-board computer at the time the emission-related fault occurs.
✅7. O2 Sensor Test: Allows retrieval and viewing of O2 sensor monitor test results for the most recently performed tests from the vehicle’s on-board computer. (Note:If the vehicle uses a controller area network (CAN) protocol to communicate, this function is not supported by vehicle)
✅8. Read Vehicle Information:Display the information such as VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), CID (Calibration ID) and CVN (Calibration verification number), etc.
✅9. Component Test: Certain vehicle components can be actuated by commands sent from the scanner to test their operability.
