Up for sale is a
Vntg Handmade 2-Piece Jon Jon Romper Mint Green cotton Shorts & Swiss Dot Cotton Top button together set. This probably dates to the fifties or earlier. Total weight is .20 lb. A gussett was nicely sewn into the crotch of the shorts, 2 1/2" by 2 7/8" wide. The shorts have a 24" waist and the sides are 9 1/2". It has belt loops, 2 button holes in the back and 4 button holes in the front. The Shirt is made from Swiss dot cotton fabric. It has 2 shell buttons on the back waist band to button short to and 4 shell button on the front of the waist band to attach to front of shorts It has 6 matching tan colored buttons on the front of the shirt wit one small shell button. The shirt has a mint green yoke on the front of the shirt and the trim on the sleeves. There are some delicate repairs on the shear white cotton fabric and some additional small spots where the fabric is pulling apart/erosions and could use some mending. It is 13" from armpit to armpit, waist is 25" and the length of the back of the shirt is 13".
